'Goodbye London' is a collection of the best pieces that I have written since leaving London, where I used to live, and since finding a new life and finding love, once my view had been cleared of the smoke.
I had always obsessed over London. I chose a university near to London and, shortly after graduating, went to live their. I lasted about 6 months before I was spat back out. I returned home, dejected and tired. After a short time, spent wallowing and lamenting, what I perceived as, my loss, I decided to pick myself back up again. I got a job in a town near to my home town, and at the job I met a beautiful and wonderful woman, who is (at the point of releasing this album) now my fiancé. This more sedate and more quirky town, and this beautiful woman, have served as much stronger and more profound an inspiration for my music than London could ever have done.
